Pegeia Municipality (PM) is a public local government body in the district of Paphos and it is the largest Municipality of Cyprus. Their experiences derive directly from their successful involvement in EU and local funded projects as well as from its collaborative network – the emphasis is on exchange of practices and knowledge and enforcing staff to gain broad set of expertise and capabilities. They are skilled in migration and asylums seekers issues, moreover they are also qualified in: launching initiatives and outreach programs for its citizens, integrating running concepts and illustrating their practical application within the local setting, cooperating with individual boards, exchanging experiences, exploring current issues and trends, raising awareness of policy makers and inhabitants about certain topics and promoting an open discussion space where important issues can be discussed in the societal and cultural conditions of municipality and further.
