Association for Developing Voluntary Work Novo mesto (Slovenia)

Association for Developing Voluntary Work Novo mesto is Slovenian non-governmental and humanitarian organisation, working in the public interest in the area of social care, youth and culture for last 25 years. Promotion and development of voluntary work is the method running underneath of all their programs and activities. They are skilled in local/regional/national and international projects, beside they also coordinate Regional NGO Centre. Their goal is to encourage better development of NGOs, private institutions, their skills and public image. Some of their activities are: informing, education, networking, promotion of NGO sector and strengthening civil dialogue. Their target groups are also Migrants and Youth with whome they are cooperating in the field of education, culture, citizens participation, human rights&active citizenship, etc. They are closely working with Slovene Philantrophy, the national organisation for promotion and fostering voluntary work, especially in the field of migrants and other vulnerable groups.
